Return Policy
Costumes may only be returned, if they are unworn and in new condition, with original packaging within ten (10) days of delivery.
Returns are generally processed within a week of receiving the product back. During Halloween / New Year season (October and January) this process may take up to 4 weeks.
The following items are only returnable if they are unopened, original packaging.
Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way. Products in zip-lock bag style packaging or any bag/box that is not factory sealed is not returnable.
Undergarments, socks and stockings, dress patterns, Video tapes, CD's, catalogs, eye lashes, wigs, beards, facial hair or any other artificial, Prosthetics, fangs or any other fake teeth Cosmetics
The Following Items are never returnable:
• Special Ordered Items - including all Mascots.
• Props that require special delivery are also not returnable.
• Any item that has been worn, used or altered
• All swimwear, lingerie and hosiery due to state health regulations
To initiate a return
• Send us an email to return@costumeselection.com with the following information included:
a. Order number
b. Billing Zip Code
c. Reason for the return
d. Return Address
• Upon receiving your Return Request Return Confirmation Number (RCN) will be sent back to the requester.
• Return must be received within 14 days of initiating a purchase
• All item(s) must be returned via a traceable method with delivery confirmation to assure we receive your package.
• Any orders returned without any means of tracking or delivery confirmation will be considered an unauthorized return and we are not responsible for refunding the order if we cannot verify receipt of the return.
• The Return Confirmation Number (RCN) must be written clearly on the outside of the box
Note:
• Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include shipping and handling charges.
• Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited.
• Any item returned that falls outside our normal return guidelines is subject to a minimum 15% handling charge. Please double-check that you have included all of the costume and packaging prior to mailing your return to our warehouse. This includes unauthorized refused packages.
• There is a minimum 15% restocking fee, if more than 3 of one item is ordered and subsequently returned.
Exchange
If you need a different size or costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you have already received. This is because the desired item maybe out of stock by the time we receive your return and to ensure the fastest delivery of your replacement item(s). All appropriate policies apply to all returned items. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling.
If you choose to email us about your return, please provide the following information:
• Your e-mail address
• Your order number
• A brief description of the problem
• Any item damage or shortage, if applicable
